I always had a love for travel and having new experiences as I was growing up. Throughout my childhood my family took great vacations every year. 

Growing up I had many interest including sailing, bicycling, backpacking, and scouting. I am an Eagle Scout and am a member of the national honor society of boy scouting. 

My travels include much of the United States, Costa Rica, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand, Czech Republic and England.

After high school I took a gap year during which time I worked in Nepal for All Hands Volunteers. We worked to rebuild the country after the devestating earthquake by clearing debris, building IDP camps, housing, and toilets.

In May 2020 I graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a B.A. in Journalism and Multimedia Studies with a strong concentration in Political Science as well.
